Happy New Year!

B.Todd wishes you all a Happy New Year and a prosperous 2010. As you all are celebrating a new year, a new decade and maybe…probably thinking: “2009, don’t let the door hit you on the way out!”, please be safe tonight.
As a way to celebrate the new year (and prove that we actually do work around here) here is a sneak peak at a couple projects we’re working on for our clients and good friends LaxGear. First is an new print ad going in the February issue of Lacrosse Magazine. Second is a preview of the soon to come new website for LaxGear. Read more
Brilliant Viral Marketing Campaign Using Facebook

So Ikea recently opened a new store, and to celebrate the occasion as well as promote it, they launched a viral marketing campaign utilizing the already free features of Facebook. They created a profile for the store manager, and posted pictures of their products in the profile. Whoever tagged themselves on a certain product first got it for free. Check out the video. Unsurprisingly, the campaign worked like a charm and snowballed due to Facebook’s ever-reaching exposure across the world. Read more
Fun With Twitter

I have not yet delved into the wacky world of Twitter as a user, but I, as the rest of humanity, have been involuntarily subjected to it in the form of thousands of Twitter off-shoot websites, celebrity tweeting and limitless Twitter jokes. Things like opening checking accounts, writing contracts and registering for tax identification numbers which is horribly boring but all too necessary.
The most time consuming part of it all was probably getting this website up. News + Words = Blog
The News + Words section, also known as The Blog (dreaded “B” word) will be coming soon. I am just finishing up the remainder of the website, which I would say is 90% done.
Once the website is fully launched, this will be the place to come to find out about company happenings, new clients, industry news and opinions, some personal design work and whatever random thing I may decide to talk about. Sounds pretty exciting, doesn’t it?
Until then, please take a look at the Portfolio
