Aqueous Solutions

Project Description

{visual identity}
Aqueous Solutions is a non-profit that focuses on global water sanitation issues and conducts research and civic projects mainly in Asia. They have been in existence for a few years, but wanted to take their brand and design to the next level to step up public support and fund-raising. Their main goals were to differentiate themselves from the other numerous water based non-profit organizations while keeping a more weighted focus on science and research. They also wanted to go with a younger, “eco-groovy” look for their brand design. The logo was designed in collaboration with a Japanese designer, Taku Satoh, who is also a strong supporter of global water reform and generously donated the “Umbrella Man” portion which was originally used for an art exhibition on water issues.
