Brilliant Viral Marketing Campaign Using Facebook

So Ikea recently opened a new store, and to celebrate the occasion as well as promote it, they launched a viral marketing campaign utilizing the already free features of Facebook. They created a profile for the store manager, and posted pictures of their products in the profile. Whoever tagged themselves on a certain product first got it for free. Check out the video. Unsurprisingly, the campaign worked like a charm and snowballed due to Facebook’s ever-reaching exposure across the world.
